At Ryiadh King Khalid International Airport’s new Terminal 5 Simpleway provided tailored voice announcements, in Arabic and English, for gate areas, as well as other requested general areas to support the boarding and deboarding processes on the airport. Always mindful of cultural differences, and as requested by the client, these announcements were provided in a male voice variant, and the system also includes automated call to prayer announcements.
For the audio interfaces, during the implementation Simpleway solution was integrated with the Bosch Praesideo system.
The client was so pleased with Simpleway’s system and service that they requested an expansion to also cover Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 with our automated voice announcements solution providing passenger information across all 16 gates. Both new terminals were integrated with the Ateis PA system.
Simpleway helped Ryiadh airport to significantly improve operational efficiency and also enhanced the passenger experience for both domestic and international passengers.
